Countries in the Manor River Union such as Sierra Leone have the lowest rates of electrification globally. In Sierra Leone only 13% of the total population have access. The majority of it being focused on urban areas, with rural electrification being at only 1%.

Helios Solutions is going the distance to reach households and commercial sites across countries such as Sierra Leone to ensure solar energy systems are available to all.

One of the greatest dividends of solar technology in the communities we operate in, is the improved quality of life that it offers to children. Specifically the near uninterrupted source of light and health benefits.

Unlike kerosene lamps and dim low quality torch lights, our products allow children to study without straining their eyes or inhaling toxic pollutants. This results in greater motivation and gives them the opportunity to work longer through the night.

At the centre of our ethos is the desire to build and motivate dynamic entrepreneurs, who seek to make a better life for their communities and the world at large. We believe that the renewable energy sector over the next decade, will become one of the largest employers in Africa and through or extensive network of agents, installers and consultants, our goal is to be a driving force to make changes in the West African Market.
